In August 2026, just days before stepping onto the world stage in Glasgow, the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band will perform a special concert: True North Strong.

This is more than a concert. It represents years of dedication, friendship, sacrifice, and pride — Canadian musicians carrying tradition across the Atlantic to share it with audiences from around the world.

As a completely self-supported organization, the 78th is raising funds to professionally record and preserve this performance on vinyl and digital release so its music and memories can live on long after the final note fades in Glasgow.

We invite our friends, supporters, alumni, families, and the wider pipe band community to help make this project possible.
