Help Us Support the Gaza Set ins which might develop to Encampment Movement Across Canada
On July 15th, 2025, Palestinian Canadians and allies across Canada will launch a nationwide peaceful sit in, in front of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offices starting in Toronto, and spreading to cities coast to coast.
We are doing this because our families are dying.
We are Gazan Canadians. Our parents, siblings, children, and loved ones are trapped in Gaza under Israeli bombardment and siege. For over a year and a half, we've pleaded with the Canadian government to evacuate our relatives under the Gaza Special Immigration Measures Program, a program that Canada announced in 2023 and has since failed to deliver.
Zero evacuations by the Canadian government, and only 616 people have arrived, and not a single person has been evacuated by the government.
Thousands are still waiting. Hundreds are sick. Many have died.
Minister of Immigration Lena Diab has refused to meet with us.
She ignored our Advocacy Day in Ottawa. She continues to post barbecue party photos on social media while our families starve under rubble.
Why We're Protesting
This is not a one-day event.
It is a multi-day sit-in movement, led by Canadians from Palestinian origin who are trying to save there direct family members in Gaza, and supported by grassroots organizations across Canada.
We are creating set ins in front of IRCC buildings to say:
We will not be ignored.
We will not let this government bury our families in silence.
We demand immediate evacuation of those eligible for the program.
What This Fundraiser Will Support:
Your donations will help us cover critical needs to sustain our set in and maybe encampment, including:
Water, food, and hygiene supplies for sit-in participants
Transportation for low-income organizers and families
Signage, printing, and materials for visibility and public awareness
First aid kits and emergency supplies
Legal support and communications tools
Media support to ensure our voices are heard

Even a small donation allows someone to participate who might otherwise be left behind.
Why This Matters
We didn’t want to protest. We wanted to work with the government.
But they’ve closed the doors.
Now, we sit in the streets , not out of choice, but out of desperation.
This is not just a Gaza issue.
It’s a Canadian justice issue. It’s about whose lives are seen as worth saving.
